Every Fall make sure that you turnoff your outdoor faucets by way of their shut-off valves in your basement.

Use caution when burning candles. Never go to sleep or leave home while candles are burning.

Have your heating system and air conditioner checked each year by a qualified technician. Also change your furnace filters on a regular basis.

Check your washing machine water connections and hoses periodically. They don't last forever . Always turn the water off to the washer when not in use. Also have our dryer vent checked for accumulation of lint. If there is an excessive accumulation of lint, this could develop into fire hazard.

Remember that hot water heaters do not last forever, watch for signs of leaks.

Remember to remove snow from your decks. If you are unable to do this yourself, contact the management company for suggested contractors to do the job for you.

Use extreme caution when using the barbecue grill on your deck. Keep it well away from all walls and do not leave it unattended while lighted.
